I can’t say it enough…if you haven’t seen this movie, you’re really missing out. Closer (2004) is such a painfully accurate portrayal of love and sex. I can easily relate to each character, but mostly to Alice (played by Natalie Portman). One of her best lines in the movie is “Lying’s the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off… but it’s better if you do.” Bingo…I couldn’t have said it better myself!
Here’s another phenomenal example of the gritty back and forth dialogue between Anna (Julia Roberts) and Larry (Clive Owen) after she admits to cheating:
Anna: We do everything that people who have sex do!
Larry: Do you enjoy sucking him off?
Anna: Yes!
Larry: You like his cock?
Anna: I love it!
Larry: You like him coming in your face?
Anna: Yes!
Larry: What does it taste like?
Anna: It tastes like you but sweeter!
Larry: That’s the spirit. Thank you. Thank you for your honesty. Now fuck off and die, you fucked up slag!
Now if that didn’t convince you to rent this movie immediately, then you’re on the wrong blog! Just go watch it, dammit!!!

Leone Frollo

Leone Frollo is an Italian comic book artist from Venice. I actually had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman while visiting Venice in the Spring of 2006. My boyfriend (at the time) and I were intrigued by the work of his we viewed at The Museo d’Arte Erotica. In the gift shop, we purchased one of his collection books and there after went around to different book stores trhoughout Venice in search of more. We unbelievably stumbled across Leone’s editor and he told us to come back to his shop the next day around 1pm to meet the artist. Sure enough, one o’ clock sharp, a frail old man came in and introduced himself as Leone Frollo. It was so exhilarating to meet him in person! He took the time to sign our book and even drew a small sketch for us. We couldn’t speak a lick of Italian, and he couldn’t speak any English, but the handshake was sincere. What a true Venetian artist!

The idea behind this blog is to get everyone talking about sex. Supposedly America went through some kind of sexual revolution, but I’m not seeing it.
